Drumming and Dance Retreat Drumming Circle - Tof Tof

Once a quarter our group goes on a retreat of drumming and dance,
this event can take place in nature or in an organized venue and lasts two, or three days.

During the weekend, We focus on one rhythm, learn Djembe accompaniments, Dundun roles, solo phrases, play for the , and learn matching dance movements.

In the evenings we also have a long jam session, where we can feel free to play and improvise.

Weekend retreats are a great opportunity to connect learn and upgrade your playing skills.

The workshop is conducted by Saar Klemperer, an experienced and veteran teacher of West African drumming , certified group facilitator and holder of a master's degree in music therapy
