We facilitate a unique rhythm-based team building workshop designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, and collaboration within organizations. The workshop uses West African drumming as an experiential tool to explore group dynamics in a clear, engaging, and accessible way. No musical background is required.
The workshop translates the shared musical experience into practical insights relevant to everyday workplace situations, such as coordination, listening, leadership, mutual responsibility, and working toward a common goal.
The program was developed and is facilitated by Saar Klemperer, a professional group facilitator and African drumming instructor, holding a BA in Business Administration and a background in music therapy. The workshop combines structured facilitation methods with traditional rhythms that have been used for centuries to support cooperation and community.
Workshop Methodology
During the session, participants take part in guided group drumming exercises that emphasize listening, synchronization, and collective decision-making. Short reflective moments connect the musical process to organizational themes such as teamwork, communication styles, and individual roles within a group.
